how it all started

Since then there have been stores in Reading, Glasgow, Bluewater and Oxford, pop -ups at The Festival of Thrift, Bartholomew Fair and Sustainability Show. Currently we have stores in Bristol , Edinburgh , Media City Salford and Westfield White City London.

Headed up by Maria Chenoweth, CEO of the sustainable clothing charity, TRAID, and Wayne Hemingway, founder of British fashion brand, Red or Dead and Hemingway Design, we’re taking charity fashion to the next level!

After two years of market style pop-ups at The Classic Car Boot Sale, Charity Super.Mkt moved things up a gear in January 2023 with our first bricks-and-mortar residency at Brent Cross Shopping Centre and what a success it was!

From being the 3rd most read article on the BBC website the weekend we opened, to featuring on overseas news broadcasts in Japan, we extended our pop-up for an extra two weeks because you loved it so much!

garms for good

Charity shops are the biggest circular, sustainable retailer on the British high street, doing really impactful things with their profits.

Shopping at Charity Super.Mkt ensures that every pound you spend is a ‘good pound’, with your money going towards a range of brilliant causes. On top of this, our stores actively reduce carbon emissions, avoiding new production and supply chains through selling only second-hand fashion.
